Politologist, Doctor of State (HDR), associate researcher at the University Paris Cité, specialist in the study of armed conflict, nuclear weapons and Arctic issues, Thierry Garcin taught in Paris I, Paris III and at the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) in Paris. Visiting professor at Sorbonne Abu Dhabi, lecturer at ENA and then at the National Institute of Public Service (INSP), he is a researcher at the HEC Geopolitics Centre. A producer who is a member of Radio-France, he was responsible for the daily program “Les Enjeux internationales” for 33 years. He is the author of many books, such as Arctic Geopolitics (2 ed., Paris, Economica, 2021) or German Question in Europe since unification (Paris, L-Harmattan, 2025).
