Résumé: À la suite d’une période d’exaltation du multilatéralisme et de la désuétude de la notion de frontière en phase avec la globalisation anglo-saxonne, nous assistons aujourd’hui, tant dans l’approche théorique que dans son application sur le terrain, à un retour aux nécessités de la protection et de l’autonomie stratégique des États nationaux face à la réalité de la compétition et des affrontements internationaux.

The Border. Permanence of a Reality on the Ground in Geopolitical Systems
Abstract: Following a period of exaltation of multilateralism and the obsolescence of the notion of the frontier in phase with Anglo-Saxon globalization, we are today witnessing a return, both in theoretical approach and in its application in the field, to the need for protection and strategic autonomy of national states in the face of the reality of international competition and confrontation.
